We left Safeway at 12:20pm after picking up the rest of "the cousins."  The 6 of us got to Tahoe pretty quickly and found that there was not nearly as much snow as we had anticipated.  We had hoped to find plenty of fluffy new snow for sledding...
At the snow park, there was much more snow which left no one disappointed.  After multiple runs down on the plastic sleds (plastic wanna-be toboggan and plastic dish), the boys made an attempt to ride the toboggan.  Being that there were two of them, there wasn't much room left for anyone else, so the girls would have to ride second.  Every single one of us crashed and tumbled through the snow no matter which sled we chose.

It was finally time for the girls to pile onto the toboggan.  For some of us, this was not only our first ride on a toboggan, it was our last.  I had "borrowed" my mom's brand new Flip video camera so I called second because I wanted to be able to  hold the camera without the responsibility of steering (little did I know there was no such thing) and still be able to hold onto the person in front of me with the other hand.  The sisters called the back two positions, which was strange but we did not question it.  This left Nikki, without concern, in the number 1 position.  We took our places.  She called out, "Ready?!?!"  And down the hill we went...
